Yumata-Sanso
About this facility
Yumata-Sanso is a mountain hut at 1,418m in the Kurobe headwaters. It reopened in fall 2023 after roughly 40 years and serves as the starting point for the Ito Shindo trail. The area is known for the 'Yumata Blue' hot spring river, and the hut offers modern facilities with a cafe bar.
